MAXSWIRL Demisting Cyclone Array

Description:

The demisting cyclone is a high-capacity, high-efficiency gas-liquid separation device using centrifugal force to remove entrained liquid from vapor streams. Vapor enters the cyclone tubes axially through a fixed swirl element, generating centrifugal motion that forces liquid droplets onto the tube inner wall. The liquid film exits through slits in the tube wall, collects in the cyclone box, and drains to the vessel bottom while clean gas exits from the top. The welded box design has no moving parts and requires no maintenance. Capable of handling high vapor and liquid loads across a wide pressure range in horizontal and vertical vessels. Commonly used to debottleneck existing separators with liquid carryover problems. TrayTec supplies and installs demisting cyclone assemblies to your vessel specification.
