The SEMV (Scalloped Edge Mini Valve) tray is a patented mini valve design where the scalloped edge splits vapor into multiple smaller streams, enhancing vapor-liquid contact while reducing entrainment and pressure drop. Available as fixed or float configurations. Paired with directional push valves, SEMV trays create plug flow across the deck, eliminating dead zones. Truncated downcomers increase active deck area for additional vapor capacity.
