Random Packing

Description:

Random packing is one of three primary mass transfer devices used in distillation, absorption, and stripping alongside trays and structured packing. Three generations cover the full range of applications. Raschig Ring packing is the first generation, used in corrosive and high-temperature services requiring ceramic or carbon construction. Pall Ring packing added windows and fingers to the Raschig Ring geometry, increasing capacity and efficiency 50 to 80%.

High-Performance Saddle Ring packing uses a low aspect ratio geometry that orients flat surfaces parallel to flow, delivering higher capacity and efficiency in atmospheric and high-pressure distillation, demethanizers, deethanizers, acid gas removal, and quench towers. TrayTec supplies and installs all three generations to your column specification.
